Our Childfree Getaway to Conwy

Hello my lovelies.. I just thought I'd quickly share a few pics of mine and Mr H's lovely child free mini break from last weekend. We were lucky enough to be able to drop K and T off at my mums for an overnight stay while we escaped to The Quay Hotel & Spa to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary a few weeks early as we can't celebrate on the day itself as Mr H is away working on the rig.

Even though it was only one night we decided to splurge and booked a suite, which was massive, we even had our own little hallway!

Love Me Beauty August Edition 3

I'm so late sharing this I need a slap, make that a mini hand slap. My LoveMeBeauty August box arrive well over 2 weeks ago and I didn't even realise I hadn't opened it til yesterday. How bad it that!

Nerd Block Jr. Girls August 2014 Box

As both me & Mr H receive various monthly subscription boxes our girls were feeling a tad left out so after some research we ordered them the Nerd Block Jr Girls box it costs $23.99USD including P&P a month which works out roughly around £15. Each box includes between 4-6 girly goodies and arrive mid month. Nerd Block also do a Jr. Boys box; as well as an Adult box and a Horror box both are a little more expensive but do include a T-shirt as well as the 4-6 goodies every month. This months box is actually the girls third Nerd Block and they were super excited to open it and completely pouted at me afterwards when I took it back off them to take a few photos... to quote my youngest I'm a mean, mean mother who's just mean... The Very Inspiring Blogger Award

Joey from A Secret Shopaholic nominated me for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award back in May (you can find her post here) and I've spent the last few weeks doing my uni work and now I have a few weeks downtime before my next essay is due I thought I'd share some facts about me you all might find interesting or take at least I hope you find interesting. I love taking part in all the different awards and tags that get shared between bloggers as I always find them really fun to complete and I love reading themas well as I find it a great way to get to know my favourite bloggers better. 

My newest obsession.

Ok so I recently discovered I've got a hidden weakness for makeup brushes, which is pretty bizarre given that just 2 months ago I owned only a hand full of cheap multi-use brushes but since I made my first purchase on Cohorted, I've ordered myself a new makeup brush every
week. 

It started with a sigma F82 brush (original post is here if you fancy reading it) and after just a few uses I was hooked, it just makes me feels like I'm waving a magic wand every time I pick it up and even better the effect of using a great brush to apply my makeup is amazing, it looks better and seems to last longer too. 

The Beauty Blogger Tag

The other week while bored I was surfing the net looking for blogging inspiration I stumbled across The Beauty Blogger Tag completed by 2 amazing bloggers, Beauty Guide 101 and Sam Barker and thought it might be fun to take a shot at it. It took awhile as its pretty long but I managed it, so make yourselves a brew, pull up a chair and start reading. 

1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?

It's naturally wavy.

2. What is your natural hair colour?

When I was little it was a mid to dark Blonde but as I've got older its more of a mid/dark Brown.

3. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?

As a teenager I dyed my own and had so many disasters so I stick with getting it coloured at my favourite salon now. 

4. How often do you wash your hair?

Every 2 or 3 days usually but it depends on what I've been doing and if its been unusually warm. 

The Glamour Beauty Edit

Ok so I've been a bad blogger.... please feel free to virtually slap me as I've had the gorgeous new Glamour Beauty Edit box sat on my dresser for 3 weeks and I haven't had chance to share it with you all. And the reason for this you wonder.. well it's totally Mr H and the girls fault, every time I've escaped to blog about this beauty of a box in peace they've found me and dragged me away, that's why I've found myself writing this while they all snore the night away, well that and it's just far too hot to sleep tonight.

July's Love Me Beauty Box - Edition 2

Morning my lovelies hope your all having a good week so far. Apologises for this being so late but life in July kind of ran away from me but as my mum use to say better late than never.. and yes it was usually as an apology for my adorable teenage habit of lateness! somethink I thankfully grew out of.. well mostly! 

My June & July Favourites

Hi my lovelies hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I spent my Saturday curled up on the sofa having a movie day with the girls thanks to heavy rain outside... Plus side my girls now know the words to all the songs in Grease and Grease 2. Sunday though Mr Sunshine decided to come out so the girls spent the day in our back garden running round catching imaginary bad guys.. They love superheroes enough said! 

Anyway I realised last week I hadn't actually done my June favourite with being distracted with my Uni essay's so I decided to hold off and combine both June and July's into just one post so here it is.. 

Two New Cohorted Purchases

Last week I ordered my first cohort purchases and I was totally bowled over by a) how easy it was to use the Cohorted website and b) how quickly they were delivered and c) how neatly they were wrapped up.
