Our Childfree Getaway to Conwy

Hello my lovelies.. I just thought I'd quickly share a few pics of mine and Mr H's lovely child free mini break from last weekend. We were lucky enough to be able to drop K and T off at my mums for an overnight stay while we escaped to The Quay Hotel & Spa to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary a few weeks early as we can't celebrate on the day itself as Mr H is away working on the rig.

Even though it was only one night we decided to splurge and booked a suite, which was massive, we even had our own little hallway!

Love Me Beauty August Edition 3

I'm so late sharing this I need a slap, make that a mini hand slap. My LoveMeBeauty August box arrive well over 2 weeks ago and I didn't even realise I hadn't opened it til yesterday. How bad it that!

Nerd Block Jr. Girls August 2014 Box

As both me & Mr H receive various monthly subscription boxes our girls were feeling a tad left out so after some research we ordered them the Nerd Block Jr Girls box it costs $23.99USD including P&P a month which works out roughly around £15. Each box includes between 4-6 girly goodies and arrive mid month. This months box is actually the girls third Nerd Block and they were super excited to open it and completely pouted at me afterwards when I took it back off them to take a few photos... to quote my youngest I'm a mean, mean mother who's just mean... The Very Inspiring Blogger Award

Joey from A Secret Shopaholic nominated me for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award back in May (you can find her post here) and I've spent the last few weeks doing my uni work and now I have a few weeks downtime before my next essay is due I thought I'd share some facts about me you all might find interesting or take at least I hope you find interesting. I love taking part in all the different awards and tags that get shared between bloggers as I always find them really fun to complete and I love reading themas well as I find it a great way to get to know my favourite bloggers better. 

My newest obsession.

Ok so I recently discovered I've got a hidden weakness for makeup brushes, which is pretty bizarre given that just 2 months ago I owned only a hand full of cheap multi-use brushes but since I made my first purchase on Cohorted, I've ordered myself a new makeup brush every
week. 

It started with a sigma F82 brush (original post is here if you fancy reading it) and after just a few uses I was hooked, it just makes me feels like I'm waving a magic wand every time I pick it up and even better the effect of using a great brush to apply my makeup is amazing, it looks better and seems to last longer too.
