Ciate and Sally Hansen Nail Polish Swatches

Happy Friday afternoon my lovelies, I thought I'd share the swatches of the Ciate and Sally Hansen nail polishes from my Original Factory Shop Mini Hauls the other week, you can find that post here

My First Lush Purchases

Whenever i walk pass my local Lush store I can't help but pop in for a nosy but I never seem to be able to decide what to buy, there is just too much choice that I find it abit overwhelming. But I was catching up on my blog reading the other day and came across a post about the Error 404 Bath Bomb on HarrietManson.com and I decided to treat myself and the girls to a few bathtime goodies.

I ordered a selection of goodies for me and my girls. For me I ordered the Volcano Foot Mask RRP £6.25 (I can't resist trying out a new foot treatment), the Error 404 Bath Bomb (which was free) and the Dreamtime Bath Melt £3.25 (I suffer from insomnia sometimes and thought this might help me unwind). For the girls I order the Fun Pink RRP £5 (I thought they would love the idea of abath-time  friendly playdoh) and the Comforter Bubble Bar RRP £4.50 as they both love a good bubble bath and it has the added benefit of looking girly.

I can't wait to try them all out, keep an eye out for reviews soon. x

Hello my lovelies hope you all enjoyed the long bank holiday weekend.

Recently the lovely Dagmara over at Mummy'sBeautyCorner tagged in her "Would you rather...." Beauty Edition Tag. I love participating in tag's, having found them to be lots of fun and a great way to let you all get to know me alittle better.

Hope you all enjoy reading my answers.

Glossybox's May Special Collaboration Box

Morning my lovelies, hope you've all had a good week. Last Friday felt like christmas when my lovely postie delivered lots of parcels full of goodies. One of them was my May Glossybox which was a secret collaboration and had been totally hyped up by Glossybox. There was a lot of talk on Facebook that it was either Selfridges or Superdrug, personally I voted for Superdrug simply because of spoiler pics Glossybox released (the colours matched the 50th anniversary colours), although I was hoping for Selfridges thinking about all the lush products it might include. With all the hype it's felt like forever waiting for my box to arrive and I couldn't wait to rip into it as soon as I got my hands on it.

Yay my Birchbox arrived last week and I was super excited to open it, I was like a kid on christmas morning and the first thing I noticed (well you can't miss it really) is the super pretty box. Just look at this beauty it's just so in your face its fab.

This months box is designed in collaboration with Harpers Bazaar magazine and is described by the Birchbox UK team on the info card as an

"exclusive collection of products, all designed to prepare for a
season's worth of outdoor adventures"

Love Me Beauty Box May

Happy Monday my lovelies hope you've had a fabulous weekend enjoying the sunshine, I'm slightly sunburnt after spending so much time outside but my girls loved being outside and my garden and veggie beds are looking much tidier.

Well, my Love Me Beauty box arrived Friday and I have no idea why but I always seem to pick edition 3, and this month was no different. All of this months menus contained two lifestyle products, which I think is a welcome change from always receiving beauty products.

Original Factory Shop Mini-Hauls

My local Original Factory Shop has always been great for finding bargain beauty and home products if not alittle too crammed in but recently it's had a total makeover. So last week when I had an hour to spare waiting for Mr H was finishing up in the gym, I decided to take a nosey round and was pretty impress with how organised the beauty sections were and also how many new, more expensive brands were on the shelves. I literally couldn't decided what to pick but managed to settle on just four little treats

I picked up two Sally Hansen Sugar Coats (£1.50 each), Royal Icing which is a lovely baby blue, and Pink Sprinkle a strong pink. A Ciate Corrupted Neon Set in Club Topicana for £5.00 which is an amazing neon orange polish and glitter set. And a bottle of Touch of Silver Daily Maintenance Shampoo for £2 which I'm hoping works wonders on my blonde ends.

Sanctuary Spa - Revive Replenishing Hydra-Tonic Review

Good morning lovelies, today I have a review of Sanctuary Spa's Replenishing Hydra-Tonic. Which was a gift off the lovely Mr H for my birthday. Its a pump action gel/lotion that is designed to refresh, cool and quench thirsty skin. It's packed full of essential oils; Grapefruit, Lemongrass and Orange to name just a few, which all add to the amazingly refreshing scent of the lotion. It also has wild lime which is meant to help promote cell renewal to create a more even skin tone.

Neutral nails with added sparkle!

This weeks topic for the #Bloggersdoitbetter challenge is "Bloggers do it better bright and neutral!" so I thought I'd share one of my favourite neutrals with sparkle nail combos of
Serum No5's Barely There and Essie's Beyond CosyI love this look whenever my nails are short and growing them back after breakages and I want a more natural look but I'm still craving just alittle bit of girly sparkle.

piCture pOlish Limited Edition Collection

Last month I was very lucky to be able to order 5 of the new piCture pOlish limited edition polishes from SallyMagpies unfortunately the 6th in the collection 'Borealis' was out of stock, and I'm still searching for it. They are all designed to be layered over a black base to give the best effect and all dry to a smooth finish. They are all multi-coloured and have light shifting properties. I'm so excited to wear them, I just need to remember to pick up a black polish next time I'm out shopping as I've found that its the one shade I don't seem to have. My only problem then will be deciding which one to use first.

John Frieda Sheer Blonde: Blonde Hair Repair Conditioning Treatment

Ok so I'm hairs been a total struggle since getting it ombré dyed in March so over the easter holidays I purchased a few different conditioning masks in my superdrug haul, in the hopes of finding that 'one' perfect treatment (I'd settle for near perfect too).

Deborah Lippmann's 'Fairydust'

Morning my lovelies today's nail polish review is of Deborah Lippmann's True Blood Polish 'Fairydust'. I'm a huge fan of the True Blood series, I have all the books and I love the tv show and I've been trying to get my hands on this polish collection for an age so finding this polish in one of my bargain hunts in TKMaxx made my day. It was hidden away at the back of a bottom shelf in a 2pack reduced for just £7.99 and even though I wasn't too keen on the other shade in the pack there was no way I was leaving this beauty behind.

Aprils Most Loved Beauty Product

Wow April went so quickly I can't believe its over already. It was a pretty hectic month overall as not only did we enjoyed a busy fun filled two week half term for Easter but I spent most of my free time studying to catch up on open uni reading and tackling my essays both of which are due in the next week. Previously I've posted about my monthly favourites but I've decided to tweak the format alittle and just focus on my most loved and used product every month. This way I'm hoping not to double up on products throughout the year and hopefully every post will feel fresh and new.
